By booking a service through Brett Handyman Services, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.2. Scope of Services
Brett Handyman Services provides general trade services to residential homeowners, including but not limited to repairs, maintenance, and minor building works.
Specific details of each service will be outlined in individual quotes or agreements.3. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.Pricing may be adjusted if unforeseen site conditions arise or if the scope of work changes after the quote has been accepted.All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of applicable taxes.4. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer or Cash.Invoices unpaid after 7 days may attract a late payment fee of $25 and accrue interest at 5% per month.5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time may incur a $50 cancellation fee.Rescheduling is allowed without penalty with at least 24 hours' notice.6. Warranty and Service Guarantee
Brett Handyman Services offers a 60-day workmanship warranty on completed work.Warranty covers only workmanship, not parts, materials, or issues unrelated to services provided.Warranty claims must be made in writing within 60 days of service completion.7. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure:Safe and reasonable access to the work site.Disclosure of any site hazards.That pets, children, or personal belongings are secure and do not interfere with work activities.Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in service refusal and applicable cancellation fees.8. Limitation of Liability
Brett Handyman Services will take all reasonable care but is not liable for:Pre-existing conditions, structural faults, or latent defects.Damage resulting from hidden conditions not disclosed by the Client.Delays caused by weather, supply shortages, or other events beyond our control.Our liability, if any, is limited to the resupply of the services or a refund equal to the amount paid for the service, at our discretion.9. Insurance
Brett Handyman Services holds public liability insurance appropriate for the services provided.10. Service Area
Services are primarily available to clients in Cooroy and surrounding areas, Queensland, Australia.
Requests outside this area are subject to availability and may incur additional travel fees.11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
